We had several reasons to celebrate in the past weeks. The four apprentices in the carpentry trade Matthias Blöchl, Christoph Brzuske, Pascal Fechter and Valentin Graf shone with excellent performances in the journeyman exams in the carpenter guilds Passau and Deggendorf and were elevated to the status of journeymen. Felix Constantin Graf completed his studies in Interior Design at the highly renowned Royal College of Art in London with a Master of Arts degree.
The four young journeymen impress with their excellent craftsmanship and flair for high-quality design. These skills were reflected in the quality of their journeyman pieces and in their grades, with scores of 1 and 2 twice each in the practical exam.
Guided by the master carpenters and skilled workers of the Graf company, they were able to acquire these skills during their two years of on-the-job training.
Matthias Blöchl, Christoph Brzuske and Pascal Fechter were each able to demonstrate their skills with a piece of desk furniture.
Valentin Graf used a juice bar to present an interplay of the noble wood of the Indian apple tree and a gold-leaf-iron spatula surface and was thus able to achieve a grade of 1 in the practical examination. With another A in the theoretical test, he completed the dream grade and thus became best in the guild.
Quality craftsmanship and fine design were also key concepts in Felix Constantin Graf's master's thesis, the design of a church pulpit, which he was able to complete with an award as one of the best works of the year.
With this know-how the Zentinger Innenausbaufirma sees itself well prepared for the requirements of the future. Company boss Felix Graf adds:
"In recent years, we have consciously invested in training and created conditions under which young people can enjoy an ideal training period. I am very pleased when our own trainees do so well in the exams and hope that this will continue in the coming years.
We will therefore not rest on our laurels and will continue to expand training in the future through in-house training and courses, as well as training coordinators. I hope to be able to offer an attractive apprenticeship position with this and invite interested parties to feel free to apply to us."
